Julie Sayers, Principal and one of four women owners at Encompas, Kansas City’s Haworth dealer, was recently named a 2026 Woman of Influence by the Kansas City Business Journal. The KCBJ Women of Influence award recognizes a select group of Kansas City leaders who are driving business results, shaping their industries, and making a lasting impact in the community.
As a Principal of a commercial furniture dealership and with over 20 years of interior design experience, Julie leads with astute observation, direct communication, and a deep respect for the complexity of our clients’ challenges. Every day she helps recognize and impact how environments shape the future for Encompas' clients —whether that’s using acoustics to support a neurodiverse workforce, creating a flexible workspace to reduce future investments, or choosing specific products to help a client's space achieve LEED certification. In an industry that’s constantly evolving, Julie’s ability to align vision with execution has made her a trusted partner to not only the team at Encompas, but Kansas City’s business owners, architects, interior designers, facilities managers, and corporate real estate leaders alike.
Please join us in congratulating Julie on this well-deserved honor! Her leadership continues to inspire our team and elevate the work we do for our clients across the region.
The Women of Influence Awards Ceremony will take place Friday, August 28, 2026 at the Overland Park Convention Center.
