Instigator of our office’s “Fleetwood Friday” and witty soundbite queen, Julie is one of our Senior Project Managers. She is also one of only two encompas Jayhawks, graduating with a BFA in Interior Design from the University of Kansas after a brief stint as an English major that now drives her tendencies as a self-professed “Grammar Nazi.” The first seven years of her career in interior design afforded Julie some amazing stories from her travels around the world designing collegiate and professional sports facilities (ask her about her personal armed guards) and she even scored a pretty awesome husband out of the deal. In 2011 Julie opted to make a shift towards the execution stage of projects, wanting to truly implement solutions for customers that enhance their business and health, and came over to the dark side: contract furniture. Need to get a hold of her? If she’s not in the office, she’s probably promoting the design community in her role on the Center for Architecture & Design Board, working out at the gym, or snuggling with her two pups in her newly self-remodeled home.
HER ONE WISH: Dogs that live forever, or at least as long as humans do.
