The Kansas City Furniture Installer is a position that will require the delivery, installation and assembly of office furniture at customer locations throughout the Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska areas, including panel systems and freestanding furniture. Furniture Installers are responsible for timely and quality workmanship within a customer service driven atmosphere.
Loading, unloading, staging, unboxing, assembly, disassembly, installation, cleaning furniture
Reading furniture layouts and taking field measurements
Ability to accurately record time and details relating to job activities
Treating/handling furniture, tools, equipment, vehicles, and company/customer sites with care
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
Experienced installation personnel are preferred, but training is provided for inexperienced candidates that are willing to learn and have a drive to succeed.
Strong communication, problem-solving, organization, and written skills
Meticulous attention to detail
Physical strength and ability to lift and move furniture and equipment weighing 75 lbs. or more
Self-motivated, hard-working, highly ethical
Punctual with flexibility to work extended shifts
Ability to work safely with tools and other furniture-related equipment
Reliable transportation to main location or direct to jobsites
Good driving record, understanding of DOT rules, can safely drive company delivery trucks
